THE INTERCULURAL EVENT
Ιntercultural evening event with music and poetry performed by an intercultural personal development group.
The intercultural event will take place at the sky lounge of ICPS College, offering a unique blend of music and poetry that will unite diverse cultures under the afternoon sky. With the breathtaking Acropolis as a backdrop, this evening promises to be a celebration of artistic expression and cultural exchange, in a harmonious atmosphere of creativity and shared experiences. The event aims to bridge cultural divides and foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the rich traditions that each participant brings to the table.
THE GROUP
“Zoi” is a Α Personal Development Group, facilitated by Sofia Polou, a person-centred psychotherapist, trained in ICPS and member of PEEPVIP, with immigrant women from Albania, of Albanian and Greek origin, who have been living in Greece for over 30 years, which has become their second home, and today they feel that they are part of Greek society.
As part of the process of this personal development group, the members of the group have produced a short program on poetry and song. They have chosen to present poetry collections of the Great Greek authors: Konstantinos Cavafis, Giorgos Seferis, Yiannis Ritsos, Tasos Livaditis, Odysseas Elytis and they will sing some of their poems who have become songs.
